ITINERARIES

Sagrada Familia

The Sagrada Familia Church, Barcelona´s most emblematic building has in fact been under construction since March, 1882 and about 70% of the church has been completed to date. Why? Well, that is very long and complicated story that I will explain when we arrive there. I will show you around the exterior.

Passeig de Gràcia

Suggested itinerary for the highlights tour of Barcelona. Passeig de Gràcia is Barcelona’s most elegant boulevard where some of the most famous designer shops, boutiques and tailors are located-Chanel, Loewe, Armani, to name just a few. It is also the avenue where you can see two of Antoni Gaudi’s most impressive completed buildings.

Park Güell

Enjoy a pleasant stroll around one of the most intriguing parks in the world. Gaudi had planned an English-style garden suburb to be constructed on a 42-acre site but, fortunately for us, the project was a failure and the park has been open to the general public since the 1920s.

The Ramblas

This mile-long, tree-lined avenue slopes down from Catalonia Square to the waterfront. We will have a leisurely stroll stopping on each of the five sections of Barcelona’s most famous road. You will see the mime artists-you can have your photo taken with, for example, Cleopatra, Che Guevara, Charlie Chaplin, a cowboy, Homer Simpson, and other famous people

Montjuic Hill

I will see some of the most important Olympic venues that are located on this hill: the Olympic stadium, the Saint George’s Sports Palace and the two Olympic pools, for example. There is also a spectacular view of the city, the harbour and the Mediterranean from the gardens on the slopes of this vantage

Nou Camp

For football fans the main attraction is Nou Camp, the home of F.C. Barcelona, known here as “Barça” and, as they are fond of saying, Barça is “more than a club”. In fact, this club is definitely one of the most important symbols of the regional identity of the Catalans
